Set goals

on January-23-11

Life takes on meaning when you become motivated, set goals and charge after them in an unstoppable manner.

– Les Brown

Very true, is it not? Hey, January is about to end. Have you set short term and long term goals for this year? Yes, it does not have to be about career only as it is really stressful. Set goals about life itself. Make that wheel turn. Make sure though that you are going to the right direction. Turn it for good!

Just pure talent

on July-19-10

Who would have thought that Charice will be that big as she is right now. Hers is another Cinderella story. It is just that, her prince is no one but her talent. She got good breaks. Thank you also to Ellen, Oprah and David Foster who gave her some exposure. I am sure that Charice has all the money now not just to buy things that she loves like shoes and clothes but also to buy gold coins! Yes, I want to give my unsolicited advice to the young woman. She has to invest her hard earned money wisely. Since she is in the US, them might as well check out gold bureaus that could help her with a very good gold investment.

We are short of rugs. The last time we bought one was last December. It has been six months! Speaking of months, it is July already. The wheel of life is indeed spinning so fast. That gave me a wake up call since I have not finished what is in my calendar. Yes, schedule is not followed again. Anyways, I believe that I should not be broken hearted. So what if I have to start all over again?

Transition

on June-28-10

Two days left and President Noynoy Aquino will be taking his oath as the new President of the Philippines. It was really fast for this man. Who would have thought that he will be the next president?

I just thought just now that he and President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo have something in common. What is it? Both their parents were also past presidents of this country.Idol ko si Ma, Idol ko si Pa. Mom is my idol for Noynoy while Dad is my idol for Gloria.

Every Filipino is hopeful for this transition. I am praying.

Life is like a wheel. Sometimes you are up. Sometimes you are down. Sometimes you have to struggle to get to the top again. I have watched several movies tackling about life’s up and down. One film encouraged me a lot. It gave me a certain inspiration for me to pursue my dream. It tells that when you are at the end of the road, it is okay to look back and ask yourself, is it the right path that I should have taken? If the answer is no, then it is alright to go back and start again and this time, follow your real dream. Very inspiring, is it not? I am writing this because many of my friends might be devastated in the near future. You know, the fear of losing a job. I, myself is not very safe to be saved but as my friend and I told ourselves, we put it all in the hands of the Wiser Up There. Anyways, we thought of options and of things that we could do or in the first place, where we should have really belonged to from the very beginning. One of our friends could have gone to Florida Cosmetology School since she stayed there for almost twp years. Moreover, she really likes to cut hair. She does her own cutting. Anyways, all of us are hoping for the best.
