Life is Like a Wheel

Performance appraisal discussion today! I got my grades! I will not be one of those cross country movers. Oh, I am talking foreign again? I wanted to leave my group last year because my efforts were not seen. This time, it is another music playing. I am at the topmost of those agents! Well, I may not be the best but I am one of the bests? No, I am not really that happy. I am blessed, yes. I thank my superiors for at least recognizing my hard work. All of the people in our team did work hard and deserve to pass. However, not everybody thinks the way I do. If only they do.

My supervisor called my attention yesterday because of my supposed unacceptable behavior last Sunday. I told her what really transpired. I am disappointed with her because she made me feel like I need an Oklahoma City attorney for me to win my case. After a heated discussion, we arrived at a resolution and I think that I actually won. Well, that is what is wrong with supervisors, they do not listen and try to pin you down just to hide the real thing. They forgot or did not do their job.

Why is it that I have the feeling that I will be undergoing an employee screening soon? Yes, I am insecure about my present job. I am not happy anymore? However, I know how hard it is to find another job. The economic crisis really itch in everyone. There are people who actually lost their jobs already. I hope it will not happen to me. However, I feel that the time will come that I need to get out of my comfort zone. It is alright. I learned and is still learning a lot right now. I could use all of it in my next endeavors.

Shift schedule is becoming an issue nowadays. Well, that is why there is a scheduler so that it would be fair for everybody. Anyways, some people do not want to work in the morning shift while other prefers to work in it. I would like to work on night shifts. As a matter of fact, I would like to request for a fix schedule as much as possible. Most of all, nobody would like to work on weekends. That is not a problem to me. I do not know why it is a big issue for others.

Life is a continuous learning process. Each day, something new is invented. To keep up, we should attend seminars, do some research or if you would really like in depth knowledge of something, you could take online college courses. Yes, you could study online at Capella University. I, myself would like to enroll at Capella. If you want, you could listen to its podcasts. Hear it from the horse’s mouth. From there, you would know how Capella is as an online university. There are Capella students, faculty and staff featured in those podcasts.

Studying online is the best thing that happened for the working class. Anyone now who would like to pursue additional education can do it now without the need to resign from their jobs.
