There is a new product in the market today. It is a fabric softener that promises less use of water in washing clothes. Filipinos wash clothes thoroughly. After the soaping, washing with water two or three times will follow. This fabric softener has the tag line, “wash only once” and get the same result. The fact is if we have water softener per se then we might not actually need fabric softener at all. However, not everyone is familiar yet with this extra system of softening the tap water.

It will be Manny Pacquiao’s fight this November 15. Enough time for me to choose among these LCD tvs I am looking at right now. Actually, I already spoke with one of my neighbors to share with the pay per view fee. They have an LCD TV already and it will be better if we watch the fight there. He agreed. But, I am really hoping to buy an LCD TV for our house real soon.

We need a new tv stand. Most of all, we need a new TV! I have been wanting to replace the TV stand because it is really big for the house. As of the new television that I want, it is really not a need yet because we still have the small one. The big TV is hard to replace because we do not have a budget. I will get the TV stand first.

The beauty of a house also lies on the flooring. What material could you use for flooring? You could use carpet, granite tile, wood, plain cement, ceramic tiles, parquet and so many more. I went to the house of my sister and I am impressed with the big white tiles that they used for their flooring. It looks clean and even makes the house look bigger.

It is the time of the year that planting is good. I already started tending my garden. I already have some plants in mind. I want green, leafy ones. I was searching the net and saw some very nice hosta plants. I particularly like this blue one. I think that it is very unique. To be honest, this is the first time that I have seen such kind. Now, I changed my mind. I might just create a blue garden.

Whenever we play scrabble, we would like to get the letters with big scores like z, x, y, j, h and so on. However, we would like to be able to use it wisely also for the big win like having able to combine seven letters to form a single entry. That would really mean a high score! Sometimes though, the Xs and the Zs are only used in words like ex, zoo and the like. I came across, Colonix and I hope that it is present in any English dictionary. It is the perfect seven letter word with the big X.

Homes now have better bathrooms. Gone are the days that you would only see a pail and a dipper pair plus the water closet and that’s it. Now, as you stepped in to the rest room of a friend’s house, there could be a bath tub, a faucet and sink, a separate shower area and of course the water closet. You could make your own nice bathroom too. I could still remember my cousin when she was about to build her own house. She specified with the architect to make sure that her bathroom would have a bigger space than the regular ones. She would like it to be the same as the T&B as that of her favorite hotel room. She achieved that and when you go to her place, you could sleep inside her bathroom. It is really luxurious. Oh. I love to plunge in at her big bath tub!

Not everyone could have a bath tub or a separate shower enclosure though. Even for a minimal space, you could still make that rest room of yours a nice place. There are so many water closets and tabletops now that come in different colors and designs. Choose the one that would suit your personality and the mood that you want to have whenever you are in that private area of the house.

Sometimes my son does not want to take a shower especially during night time. I just ask him to at least wash his feet before going to bed. So, today, I asked him to go to the bathroom and clean himself. He asked me to open the shower so that he could enjoy hot water. I told him that he could just use the faucet to conserve electricity. He refused and said that he did not want cold feet. He is really adorable! At five years old he could reason out to get the things that he wants. I should start looking for a gas tankless water heater system that could be installed so that all faucets at the house would be able to produce lukewarm water. Yeah, I could say that I do not like to wash the dishes too especially in the morning when the water from the sink faucet is real cold.

No more cold water in the house ! That would be our next project.

Uh, oh! Our sink faucet at the kitchen was already malfunctioning and it could not be repaired anymore! For almost a week, we tried to live with it but we could not afford to see water leaking from it.  So, we removed it thus, we do not have a faucet at the kitchen’s sink for almost three days now. We are still deciding if we would buy again the same model or choose from Hansgrohe sink faucets. We would make sure that the one we would purchase is durable and if possible with water saving mechanism.
