Elevator proposal

Wheel on March-29-09

The title of Grey’s Anatomy’s latest episode is Elevator Love Letter. At first, I was trying to find what was the connection of the title with the episode. That was until I was able to watch the latter or the closing parts of the episode. Yeah, it was very romantic for Derek to propose to Meredith inside the elevator with all the set-up of brain CT scans. Derrick had all those operations where Meredith was there. He was sort of saying to the original Grey that she is the wings beneath his wings. I love this episode.

Another aspect of the episode was Derrick’s first day at the hospital after a hiatus. Moreover, a major operation on Izzie’s brain. That was full of suspense until the great brain surgeon sort of showed his angst and confidence thru the tone of his voice towards the oncologist who was there to make sure that he was doing the right thing.

Oh, the next episode would be on April 23! Three weeks of waiting again!

New neighbor

Wheel on March-27-09

I think the moving companies here in our country have been improving. Though I still see open pick up trucks loaded with sofas and refrigerators at the road, maybe those are just a few already. Two weeks ago, I saw an enclosed six wheeler passed by my house. We have a new neighbor! I wonder how all their things would fit in their new place though. Imagine how many furniture and appliances could a 6X10 truck store.

fwHave you watched Freedom Writers? It stars Hilary Swank as Erin Gruwell. Her supposed to be leading man in the movie was Patrick Dempsey. I have this goal for the season to watch all of McDreamy’s movies. Anyways, I really did not know what the movie was all about. I just googled about P.D.’s movies and since I am a fan of Hilary also that was why I decided to watch this film. All in all the movie was good. It had a touch of reality and “fantasy”. There were so many life’s lessons that you could get from this movie. It was entertaining also. One thing that I did not like was that Patrick was just a decoration in this film. He was the house husband…he felt left out while Erin was making waves and actually becoming one for the books as the teacher of the juvenle kids. I wonder why he accepted the role in the first place. Maybe, he wanted to be a part of this docu-film? One thing for sure, he contributed to the commercial appeal of this movie. I do not remember though that it was shown here in our country.

The lines that caught my attention was Patrick’s last scene with Hilary;

‘Why couldn’t you just support me like wives do to their husbands?”

“Because, I am not your wife.”

Anyways, I am still a fan of Patrick. I just hope though that he would be given more meaty roles next time.

Luxurious bath

Wheel on March-24-09

Homes now have better bathrooms. Gone are the days that you would only see a pail and a dipper pair plus the water closet and that’s it. Now, as you stepped in to the rest room of a friend’s house, there could be a bath tub, a faucet and sink, a separate shower area and of course the water closet. You could make your own nice bathroom too. I could still remember my cousin when she was about to build her own house. She specified with the architect to make sure that her bathroom would have a bigger space than the regular ones. She would like it to be the same as the T&B as that of her favorite hotel room. She achieved that and when you go to her place, you could sleep inside her bathroom. It is really luxurious. Oh. I love to plunge in at her big bath tub!

Not everyone could have a bath tub or a separate shower enclosure though. Even for a minimal space, you could still make that rest room of yours a nice place. There are so many water closets and tabletops now that come in different colors and designs. Choose the one that would suit your personality and the mood that you want to have whenever you are in that private area of the house.

Stand By Me

Wheel on March-24-09

It is the title of Grey’s Anatomy’s latest episode. Stand By Me. I love this episode. It is about friendship. It also tells about how we should trust Medicine. Yes, it is a big business but its main purpose still is to save one’s life.

How about the Mer-Der love angle? It is still there but not being given much stress which is okay for me. Though, I know that this show would not survive without them.

So, I am looking forward to the next episode. I hope that it would be better.
